About Me
Edit
Hi! My name is Nicholas. I'm 16 years old and a HUGE fan of Primeval. I think it's one of the greatest TV shows I've ever seen and I can't wait to see series 5... Sadly, I don't have UKTV on my cable list. The only channel I have that shows Primeval is BBC America. Luckily, I did manage to see series 5 on youtube. BEST SERIES EVER!!! I sure hope they make a series 6. I'm also really excited for Primeval New World, but again, it will be premiering on a channel that I don't have. Luckily, they'll probably put that on youtube as well.

Edit
The train that left for King's Cross went through an anomaly into prehisotric Argentina. None of the passengers were harmed, but were quite frightened and confused. They were also unaware of a pack of Eodromaeus stalking them. Without warning, they pounce. Of the twenty passengers that boarded the train, 10 are dead. Luckily, the team arrives and manage to scare away the Eodromaeus with their EMDs and get the remaining passengers back through the anomaly. Unfortunately, the Eodromaeus weren't shaken up enough and follow them through the anomaly. As the team rushes the passengers back to the station, Connor trips on a railroad tie and cuts his leg on a railroad spike. The smell of blood drive the Eodromaeus mad. They surround Connor and prepare to attack. Connor begins to panic when Matt and Becker shoot the Eodromaeus with their EMDs. The whole pack is sent back through the anomaly just before it closes. At his apartment, Matt tells Emily what happened before they left the ARC. Emily finds it hard to believe, but Matt insists that he wasn't hallucinating. Both of them are frightened and puzzled.
Episode 2
Edit
An anomaly opens up at a popular beach. A surfer is catching a wave when he rides his surfboard straight through an anomaly into prehistoric France. He has no idea what happened and is unaware that he is being watched. Suddenly, a pair Lophostropheus appears from the forest. They lunge at the surfer and tear him to shreds. Back at Matt's apartment, he just finishes scheduling an appointment at the hospital when his cell phone rings. There's an anomaly alert. He and Emily meet up with the rest of the team. They find the body of the surfer half eaten, and two sets of theropod tracks nearby. Becker locks the anomaly before he joins the rest of the team in looking for the culprits. They hear screaming coming from a seafood restaurant on the boardwalk. They rush to the scene to find the Lophostropheus terrorizing the customers and devouring every last scrap on their plates. Back at the anomaly site, the incoming tide jams the anomaly locking mechanism, reopening the anomaly, and allowing a hungry Dubreuillosaurus to come through. It spots a trio of fisherman heading for the pier and attacks. Abby and Connor hear the screaming and head down to investigate while Matt and Becker deal with the Lophostropheus. They spot the Dubreuillosaurus devouring the fisherman. They start shouting at it to get its attention. It responds with a deafening roar and charges straight towards them. They set their EMDs to their highest voltage and open fire. The theropod collapses right in front of them and Matt and Becker catch up to them, carrying the two unconcious Lophostropheus on their backs. All three theropods are sent back through the anomaly unharmed. Later that evening, Matt and Emily arrive at the hospital. Matt gets a CT scan, and the results are horrifying. He has a brain tumor.
Episode 3
Edit
An anomaly opens up in the Forest of Dean. A hungry Kileskus comes through and soon spots a fisherman by the river. The primitive Tyrannosaur goes in for the kill and the fisherman's screams echo across the valley. At the ARC, Matt and Emily tell everyone what has been happening. When they tell everyone that they've agreed to take their chances and have the tumor removed, the anomaly alert goes off. When the team arrives at the anomaly site, Abby finds theropod tracks that lead down to the river. There, they find the half eaten body of the fisherman and the sleeping Kileskus. Connor moves in for a closer look, but accidentally snaps a twig and wakes the Kileskus up. It prepares to pounce on Connor, but Matt and Becker get its attention by whistling, and shoot it with their EMDs. Unfortunately, the shots only scare it off. The team follows the Kileskus to the the same parking lot where Helen Cutter encountered the Gorgonopsid. The enraged theropod has flipped over several cars and killed five more people. Luckily, Connor gets an idea, and runs into the grocery store. He comes back out with the biggest turkey he could find. He ties it to the rear of a car and hopes that the fifteen pounds he spent on it will pay off. Emily and Abby grab another rope and tie both ends to two more cars. Matt begins to shout at the Kileskus to get its attention. The Kileskus hears him and spots the turkey. Matt climbs into the car and hits the gas. The Kileskus follows the bait, trips over the second rope, and loses conciousness. It is dragged back to the anomaly site and sent back through with the turkey so it wont go hungry when it wakes up.
Episode 4
Edit
An anomaly opens up at the harbor. A man begins to real up his crab pot when it suddenly becomes stuck. Then the rope jerks and the man is almost dragged off the pier. But as quickly as the tussel began, whatever was tugging at the crab pot appears to have given up. The man puts on his snorkel mask and jumps into the water to investigate. When he reaches the bottom, he finds his crab pot destroyed as well as the anomaly. Then, almost out of nowhere, a huge Dunkleosteus attacks him from behind and slices him in two. Meanwhile, at the ARC Abby and Connor begin to make plans for their wedding (they do it secretly in the menagerie so they don't arouse any suspicions). Connor is just about to give Abby the ring he bought for her when the anomaly alert goes off. Once the team arrives at the harbor, Abby's black box reveals that the anomaly is about 20 meters under the pier they're standing on. Matt, Connor, and Becker grab their scuba gear and dive down to the bottom. Luckily, after what happened at the beach, Connor added a new feature to the anomaly locking mechanism. He covered all the electrical components with waterproof titanium, which works like a charm as the anomaly is successfully locked. Then, there is a dramatic change in Connor's face. Apparently he was staring the half-eaten remians of the man who was investingating his crab pot before the Dunkleosteus attacked him. Becker soon displays the same face when he spots the silohuette of the Dunkleosteus heading straight for them. Luckily, all three get out of the water just before the huge placoderm breaches out of the water, half lands on the pier, then slides back into the water again. Abby then spots the Dunkleosteus again as it heads out into the open ocean to feed. The team takes a yacht out after the armored giant, which is apparently following a school of tuna about to be caught by a fishing vessel. A crew member helps everyone aboard. On deck, Abby sees the Dunkleosteus follow the tuna into the net. She rushes into the cabin and tells the captain to close the net. Matt soon joins her and tells the captain to set course for the harbor. The ship nears the harbor and Matt tells the captain to put the throtle on auto-pilot. Connor puts on his scuba gear and jumps overboard. He soon reaches the bottom and unlocks the anomaly. As the ship nears the anomaly, everyone jumps overborad. They watch as the anomaly's magnetic field sucks in the ship along with the trapped Dunkleosteus. Back at the ARC, Abby and Connor rush back to the menagerie to continue making plans for their wedding. Becker and Matt begin to get suspicious, but decide not to interfere with the couple's affairs.
Episode 5
Edit
Its a normal day at the ARC. Jess and Emily are enjoying a morning cup of coffee, Matt and Becker are talking the scariest creatures they've ever encountered, and Abby and Connor are still busy making plans for their wedding in the menagerie. They're just about to discuss what they should do for their honeymoon when the anomaly alert goes off. But this time, there are two anomalies. One is in the city center and the other is in Abby's old flat. Matt, Becker, and Emily decide to take care of things downtown while Abby and Connor will handle Abby's old flat. When Matt, Becker, and Emily arrive at the city center, everything is a wreck. Becker locks the anomaly while Emily and Matt keep a look out. Suddenly, a rogue male Pachyrhinosaurus charges at Becker who jumps out of the way just in time. Meanwhile, at Abby's old flat, Connor locks the anomaly while Abby looks around for any signs of an incursion. Connor heads into the kitchen to see if there's anything in the refridgerator. He opens the door and he is suddenly pinned to the floor by a large group of future rabbits that scurry into the hallway and trampling Abby as well. The good news is they don't seem to pose any danger. It's catching them that's tricky. Back in the city center, Matt, Becker, and Emily are trying to calm the Pachyrhinosaurus down, but no matter how many times they shoot it with their EMDs, the Pachyrhinosaurus just keeps getting angrier. Becker eventually decides to head back to the ARC and get some tranquilizers. In the meantime, Matt and Emily are left with the job of blocking every street the Pachyrhinosaurus could use to escape. Back at Abby's old flat, Abby and Connor attempt to catch the future rabbits with butterfly nets, but they're too fast. Abby and Connor are just about to give up when they eventually decide to catch the future rabbits the old fashioned way. They set up small animal cages all over the apartment block and bait them with carrots. After 20 minutes, the future rabbits fall for the traps and all of them are finally captured. After sending them back through the anomaly, Abby and Connor manage to catch up with Matt and Emily. Becker soon returns with the tranquilizers and the whole team fires a dart at the 6-ton behemoth. After 10 minutes, the Pachyrhinosaurus begins to feel drowzy. Then finally, it crashes to the ground unconcious. The anomaly is unlocked and the Pachyrhinosaurus is sent back through. Back at the ARC, Abby and Connor finally decide to announce their engagment. Everyone is called into the hub, and the couple announce that they are to be wed. At first the ARC is completely silent and then everyone, even Lester is applauding and congratulating them.
Episode 6
Edit
An anomaly opens up at the shopping arcade. Two girlfriends stop dead in their tracks and begin to stare at the glowing rip in time before them. But their fascination soon turns to panic when a Megaraptor comes through and lets out a terrifying roar. The giant raptor spots the two girlfreinds attempting to make a run for cover and chases after them. The girlfreinds look back and they last thing they see is a flash of teeth and blood. The team at the ARC gets the signal and immediately prepares to head out. Once they arrive, Abby finds huge theropod tracks heading toward the shopping arcade. They appear to belong to a raptor, but Abby is skeptical that a creature of such size could exist. Her question is soon answered when Connor points to the Megaraptor about to devour a consession man. Matt tries to get its attention by honking his car horn, but the sound only scares it off. Everyone jumps back into their cars and begin to follow the giant raptor. They soon have the Megaraptor trapped in the same spot where Abby and Connor returned to the 21st century after a spending year in the Cretaceous period. The giant raptor has sliced through several cars with its massive toe claws and killed six more people. The team set their EMDs to their highest voltage and take aim at the Megaraptor. With four shots, the 2-ton killer falls to the ground. Matt unlocks the anomaly, and the Megaraptor is sent back through. After the anomaly closes, Matt heads down to the hospital with Emily to get his brain tumor removed. After 2 hours, Matt wakes up to the first good news he has had since Abby and Connor's engagment. The procedure was a success, and the tumor was banign.
Episode 7
Edit
There is much activity at the ARC. With Matt on a medical leave, Connor is temporarily replacing him as team leader. Everyone else is busy making preparations for the wedding party to celebrate his marriage to Abby who asks him whether he still thinks about Danny. He is just about to respond when they get a new anomaly signal. The site is located in the same football stadium where the Dodo incursion was. The team packs up and moves out. Once they arrive, Connor prepares to set up the anomal locking mechanism when he sees a gun pointed in his face. He looks up to see Patrick Quinn alive and well. Becker and Emily, who is apparently still angry at him for trying to murder her, take aim at him with thier EMDs. Suddenly, a massive Theropod comes through letting out an ominous roar. Partick begins to panic and makes a run for the bleachers. Connor indentifies the creature as Saurophaganax. Then, the team is in for another surprise. Danny comes through the anomaly shortly after the Saurophaganax and is quite relieved to be back in his own era again, but rather frighetened by the huge carnivore that he claims was chasing him while he was chasing Patirck for almost a month. The people on the ground look up to the psychopath time traveler being chased by the apex predator of the Jurassic. Connor asks Danny whether they should save his brother or let the Saurophaganax kill him. Danny thinks really hard, and eventually decides to lets the Saurophaganax cut his work out for him. Patrick overhears his brother and flies down the bleachers in fury. Just seconds after he touches the ground, the Saurophaganax catches up to him and swallows him whole. But the Jurassic giant isn't done yet. As soon as it is finished devouring Patrick it crashes through one of the stadium walls and rampages through Central London. Connor welcomes Danny back, everyone gets back in their cars, and chase after the Saurophaganax. Eventually the giant Theropod ends up at the Central Metropolitan University. Students flee for their lives as the Saurophaganax terrorizes the campus. Eventually it becomes trapped in the courtyard. Abby, Connor, Becker, and Emily seize their chance and shoot the towering killer down with their EMDs. The 6-ton theropod is carried back to the football stadium via flatbed truck and is sent back through the anomaly. Back at the ARC, Lester welcomes Danny back to the team and Abby and Connor tell him the good news.
Episode 8
Edit
It's quitting time at the ARC. Matt, Emily, and Jess are asking Danny how he wound up on the team. He brings up all the encounters he had before he became trapped in the Great Rift Valley. Jess asks him what was the scariest creature he has ever encountered. He says that by far, the most terrifying creature he has dealt with was the Giganotosaurus at the airport. Emily wants Danny to describe it, but just before he can tell emily what the massive Theropod was capable of, the anomaly alert goes off. The signal is coming from the Wellington Zoo. Meanwhile, a gang of stindents is enjoying a last minute visit. One girl wants to check out the reptile house. The students go in and right in the center of the reptile house, they find the anomaly. Then out of nowehre a Megalania charges out of the shadows and grabs the one girl's boyfriend. The lizard sinks its teeth into his shoulder while the rest of the students flee. The team arrives just as the students come running out of the reptile house in a panic. The one girl tells them that a giant monitor lizard has escaped and got her boyfriend. Connor instantly knows what they're dealing with. They rush into the reptile house investigating every last possible hiding place for a lizard. Abby finishes locking the anomaly when she feels something breathing down her neck. She turns around to see the Megalania with its forked tongue flickering in and out of its mouth. Connor gets its attention by shouting and manages to scare it off with his EMD. After Abby pulls herself together, she explains how monitor lizards hunt. After hearing that lizards, like all reptiles, can't tolerate extreme temperatures, Danny suggests that they literally turn up the heat. Emily heads down to the security room and finds the thermostat. Eventually, the rising temperature drives the Megalania out its "den" underneath the crocodile enclosure. Becker spots the lizard trying to escape and gets its attention by whistling. The lizard charges towards Becker and stares him in the face with pitch black eyes. It is just about to strike when it spots Matt running to the anomaly site. As he runs for his life, it becomes clear that he actually regrets having his brain tumor removed because that was how his father died. Matt unlocks the anomaly and stands right in front of it. The rest of the team rushes to the scene and immediately figure out Matt's intentions. He says that he wants to be with his father again. The team hears the lizard coming and as they dash to safety, he says to Emily that he'll be alright. The Megalania appears and lunges at Matt. The team watches in horror as the lizard sinks its teeth into his flank and swallows him whole. After the Megalania finishes its meal, it glares back at the team, lets out a sinister hiss, and goes back through the anomaly just before it closes. The team returns to the ARC telling Lester and Jess that Matt didn't make it.
Episode 9
Edit
The ARC is almost silent. Emily is seen sitting at a table having some coffee, still grieving over Matt's death. Abby tells her that she knows how she feels. Emily says that it seems that Matt didn't even give a second thought about her. She clearly feels betrayed by him. Abby tells her about Steven. She says that she was the most upset at his funeral and has a flashback to Steven being surrounded by Leek's army of prehistoric predators. The flashback ends when the anomaly alert goes off. The signal is coming from a train station right next to the same golf course where the team first encountered the Pteranodon and the Jeholopterus. Once the team arrives, it becomes clear that something big has came through the anomaly. A massive trail of footprints the size of small swimming pools stretches to nthe horizon. Connor identifies them as Sauropod tracks when a tree comes crashing to the ground. Connor jumps out of the way just in time. Apparently the 50 meter spruce was knocked over by a Seismosaurus. It then becomes clear that the massive Diplodocid is not alone. A whole herd follows in its wake. As the herd passes, the team follows the trail of fallen trees and flattened bushes that leads to the anomaly site. The team decides not to lock the anomaly as the signal is very strong, so it will stay open for a long period. The team then follows the trail in the direction where the Seismosaurus where heading. Apparently they're heading straight for the city. Everybody hops into their cars and races to catch up with the herd. They soon find the Sauropods at the train yard and Danny immediately gets in idea on how to drive them back to the anomaly site. Everybody hops on board a CSX SD-80 and slowly inches towards the herd. the sound of the horn makes the leader rear up and let out a deep bellow. The leader then signals the herd to move back to the golf course, just as the team planned. Back at the ARC, Lester and Jess are shocked to see a news report on the TV stating that "The Dinosaur Express" has come to London. The helicopter-mounted camera captures the herd moving down a railroad crossing with the diesel following them. The herd soon reaches the golf course and starts heading through the anomaly, but its closing. And things get worse as a young Seismosaurus has fallen behind and is trying to catch up. Unfortunately, the anomaly closes just before the baby can make it through. At about the size of a polar bear, it will easily fit in menagerie. Before the youngster is taken in, Abby examines it for any injuries. It is a male and is in good health. Connor and Abby decide to name him Sam. As the young Seismosaurus walks into the menagerie, Rex, Sid, and Nancy are eager to meat him. Sam is clearly happy to have some new friends.
Episode 10
Edit
It's a busy day at the ARC. Abby and Connor's wedding is in two weeks and everyone is very exicted. In the menagerie, Sam seems to be settling in well. The Balaur from the art museum is doing well also. Luckily, Lester was generous enough to divide the menagerie to keep the carnivores from attacking the herbivores. The Balaur is actually surprisingly docile and doesn't seen to mind the occasional visit from Sam and his playmates. Suddenly, the anomaly alert goes off. The signal is coming from a local playground. The team soon arrives and is shocked to see a large Hadrosaur giving children rides on its back. Connor identifies the creature as Protohadros. Abby locks the anomaly as Becker tells the children to go back with their parents. Emily tries to get a closer look at the Protohadros, but it turns away and disappears into the woods. Connor then states that where there's a Hadrosaur, there's a herd. The team follows the Protohadros into a clearing where its herd is grazing. Danny and Becker get their attention by whistling, but it startles them and they begin to stampede. Fortunately, the herd is heading straight for the anomaly, but Danny and Becker are caught in the middle. They have no choice but to go through the anomaly with the herd to avoid being trampeled to death. Just before the first Protohadros takes another step, Danny and Becker charge through the anomaly just one jump ahead of the herd. They manage to get out of the way by hiding in some bushes. They come out of hiding to see that the herd has calmed down and head back to the time period where they belong. Back at the ARC, Abby soon realizes that soon Sam will become too big for the menagerie. She talks to Connor about it, thinking that they should make some renovations to make the menagerie more comfortable for the creatures. Connor agrees and they talk to Lester about it and after some serious thinking, he says that he'll call in a construction team right away.
Episode 11
Edit
An anomaly opens up at a soccer field. The team has just finished packing up their gear and is heading out to the parking lot. They spot the anomaly and get the feeling that they're being watched. They turn around and an unknown predator kills all 20 members. The next morning, Abby and Connor are busy loading the creatures in the menagerie onto a tractor trailer. They will temporarily live at the Wellington Zoo while the renovations in the menagerie are taken care of. Just as the tractor trailer pulls out, the team gets a new anomaly signal. The anomaly site is at a soccer field, and when the team arrives, they immediately got problems. Danny and Becker find the dead soccer players torn to shreds. Connor examines the bodies and says that the bitemarks are unlike any he has seen before. It would seem that the creature that killed the soccer players had a serious overbite. Then, they hear an ominous growl coming from behind the concession stand. As they turn the corner, they see a medium-sized Theropod digging through the dumpster like a starving raccoon. Suddenly, it catches the scent of the team and lets out an piercing roar. It charges and the team makes a run for it. They take cover in the restroom. Luckily, the door only opens outwards, so the creature won't be able to get in. As the Theropod furiously headbutts the door, Connor identifies it as Genyodectes. After the banging stops, Danny takes a peek outside and finds the Genyodectes sleeping in the nearby parking lot. He begins to devise a plan. As usual, Connor is the bait. He while wake up the Genyodectes by shouting while Becker will hide behind the dumpster. Once the Genyodectes passes the dumpster, he will shoot it down with his EMD. Connor slowly approaches the slumbering Ceratosaur while Becker heads for the dumpster. Connor begins to shout, waking up the Genyodectes. The Ceratosaur gives chase with Connor just one jump ahead of it. He leads the Genyodectes to the dumpster where Becker opens fire as soon as it passes. The Ceratosaur hits the ground with a thud and is sent back through.
Episode 12
Edit
There is much activity at the ARC. Today is Abby and Connor's wedding. Emily and Jess have just finished putting up the decorations when the anomaly alert goes off. The signal is coming from the forest near the estate where Jenny had her wedding. The team arrives at the anomaly site, which is near a small creek. Becker locks the anomaly while Abby and Connor investigate two sets of Theropod tracks. Connor studies the first set, which was made by a small Theropod and lead towards the nearby brush. Abby studies the second trail, which was made by a much larger predator and lead straight into the woods. Connor follows his trail into the brush and finds the body of a fisherman mauled to death; his catch is sliced in half. Suddenly, Connor hears something in the bushes. He's just about to fold back some braches when a Masiakasaurus pounces on him. It turns to face him, raising one arm and growling viciously. Then, the ground begins to vibrate. Then out of the woods comes a male Majungatholus who lets out a roar that can be heard from miles. The Majungatholus charges and snatches two soldiers at once. Another soldier takes aim, but it's too late. Then it spots the Masiakasaurus who has no choice but to fight. It pounces on the Abelisaur like a cat and inflicts deep cuts in its flanks. It then grabs the Majungatholus by the back of the neck, sinking its nightmarish fangs into its tough hide. The Majungatholus shakes the small Coelurosaur off. The Masiakasaurus slams into a tree and falls to the ground unconcious. The Majungatholus then turns its attention to Connor. The Abelisaur is just about to make his move when Becker nails it in the back of the head with his EMD. Half an hour later, the Majungatholus wakes up disoriented. It towers over the team, but luckily, it's not interested anymore and goes back through the anomaly. The team waits another 15 minutes to allow the Majungatholus to cover a certain distance before they carry the Masiakasaurus back through. The Coelurosaur is carried back through the anomaly on Danny's back and the anomaly is locked again when he returns. After the wedding, Connor and Abby announce that they won't be going on a honeymoon in case any anomalies open up while they're away. That's reassuring for Lester because he just got a call from the ARC. There's a new anomaly. The team packs up their gear and hits the road, marking the beginning of Series 7.
