HistoryEdit

Episode 1.4Edit

Helen Cutter escaped captivity by running through an anomaly leading into the Spaghetti Junction. Captain Tom Ryan gave chase and was followed through by Stephen Hart. By the time they arrived mere seconds later Helen had already darted off into another anomaly and escaped. Stephen and Ryan were forced to return having lost her, but took pictures of the anomalies to show the others. Cutter found it incredible and Connor called it "the spaghetti junction of anomalies."

The Lost IslandEdit

When a storm battered Guns Island, a type of Spaghetti Junction opened.

Extinction EventEdit

Later, Helen brought Jenny Lewis to a Spaghetti Junction from the Permian whilst searching for Nick Cutter and his team. Jenny recognised it from Connor's description and Helen explained that it was one of several 'hubs' and that she had never taken the time to explore.

Satellite AnomaliesEdit

In a Prison where an anomaly was located, several other anomalies opened up around the anomalies in a similar manner to the Spaghetti Junction. It was soon revealed that it was a case of satellite anomalies, created when two anomalies open up on the exact same spot. (Episode 4.7)

AttributesEdit

Spaghetti Junctions can be caused by ferocious storms, as with the Guns Island Spaghetti Junction. (The Lost Island).

In Episode 3.9, Helen mentions that there are anomalies everywhere, some you just can't see. The Spaghetti Junction could be an example of this, being that all the anomalies in the area have been activated.

It is possible that Spaghetti Junction has a large concentration of Magnetite in the soil, thus explaning the large anomaly count.

Helen has mentioned that there is more than one Spaghetti Junction, and that as she has never explored them, they could be open in a modern day era, a distant past or future. However it is implied that she has other theories as to where the Junction is located, but does not share them.

It is possible this is Convergence from a past era.

Behind the ScenesEdit

The Spaghetti Junction seems to have been named after a very complicated junction on the M6 outside Birmingham.
