This article is about the online game, not the similarly named Roleplaying Game sequel; Primeval Evolution.


Primeval Evolved was an interactive spin-off series from Primeval, featuring some of the cast from the show. It ran parallel with Series 3. It was only available in the UK but after 2009 it was no longer accessible.

Official Terms and Conditions

Introduction:

These Primeval Terms and Conditions ("Primeval Terms") govern the relationship between you and ITV Consumer Limited when you access and use our online services (which may include audio visual content, text, photographs, forums, interactive games, advertising and other services) ("Primeval Services") at the website http://www.itv.com/primeval/ (the "Primeval Website").

We recommend that you read these Primeval Terms carefully before using the Primeval Services. By accessing and using the Primeval Services, you agree to be legally bound by these Primeval Terms. If you do not agree with any of our Primeval Terms then you should not use the Primeval Services. If you are a Parent or Guardian and you provide your consent for your child to access and use the Primeval Services, you agree to be bound by these Primeval Terms in respect of your child's access and use of the Primeval Services.

ITV.com Terms of Use:

These Primeval Terms apply to your use of the Primeval Services in addition to the ITV.com Terms of Use which you can view by clicking the link. In the event of any conflict between these Primeval Terms and the ITV.com Terms of Use, these Primeval Terms shall prevail.

Registration:

Registration for the Primeval Services is not mandatory however in order to participate in the full range of Primeval Services (including the Primeval Competition and to record your progress through the interactive games) you must register your details with us and create a user profile via the Primeval Website. You must be 12 years old or over to register for the Primeval Services. During the registration process you will be required to select a username which may be displayed to other users of the Primeval Services (for example on the interactive game score boards). If you choose to include personal information, such as your name, gender, or date of birth, in your screen name you do so at your own risk. You agree not to enter a username which is profane or offensive in any way.

If you're under 16 years old and want to register to access and use the full range of the Primeval Services, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to register and you must provide a valid email address for us to contact them. We will then send a message to your parent or guardian informing them that you have asked to register for the Primeval Services and we will also ask them to confirm that they consent to your registration. Where your parent or guardian does not consent to your registration or they do not respond within thirty days of receipt of our email, you will not be able to register for the Primeval Services and we will delete any information you have provided from our databases.

Primeval Competition:

When you register for the Primeval Services you may choose to participate in the Primeval Competition by ticking the box to confirm that you wish to enter.

The competition is open to UK residents only and you must also provide us with a valid UK telephone number. We will only contact you by telephone if you have won the Primeval Competition.

The competition is open from 18 March 2009 and will close on 5 June 2009 at 10am.

In order to gain entry to the Primeval Competition and stand a chance of winning, registered players must enter the correct 'clue word' and complete one full week's tasks within the interactive game included within the Primeval Services. Users only need to complete one week (out of the possible nine weeks) to gain entry into the Primeval Competition. Users only qualify for one entry into the Primeval Competition regardless of how many times they complete any full week's tasks. There is no entry via email or post to the Primeval Competition. Entries on behalf of another person are void. Entries over the maximum number of entries, or entries made or received by the Promoter after the closing date and time, or entries which are incomplete, misspelt, incomprehensible, or not received are void and will not be entered into the Primeval Competition.

The draw of the Primeval Competition will take place on 8 June 2009. The first correct entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will be the winner of the 1st prize. The second correct entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will be the winner of the 2nd prize. The third correct entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will be the winner of the 3rd prize. The next 10 correct entries drawn at random from all eligible entries will be the winners of the runner-up prizes. The winners will be contacted as soon as practicable on or after the Primeval Competition draw date on the phone number they provided when registering. For those eligible winners aged 12 to 15 years will be contacted through the parent/guardian email address provided at the point of registration. The Promoter will not amend contact information provided once entry to the Primeval Competition has been made. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact a winner. If they cannot be contacted or fail to provide an address for delivery or fail to meet the eligibility requirements as set out in the general competition terms and conditions, and elsewhere as applicable, or are otherwise unable to comply with these terms this may result in forfeiture of their prize and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next correct entry drawn at random from all eligible entries. All prizes will be sent to winners by registered mail or courier.

The prizes are as follows:

  • 1st Prize: Cutter's Jacket (prop from the TV show), Cutter action figure, script signed by cast, DVD box set of Primeval series 1 and 2, Primeval novel and Primeval activity book.
  • 2nd Prize: Primeval board game, 2 signed scripts, Primeval activity book, Primeval novel, Primeval action figure.
  • 3rd Prize: 2 signed scripts, Primeval novel, Primeval activity book, toy anomaly detector.
  • 10 individual runner-up prizes: one Action figure for each runner-up

The prizes each include delivery to the winner's UK mainland home address. There is no alternative prize or cash equivalent. The Promoter reserves the right to vary any element of the prizes due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. The prizes are non-changeable and non-transferable. The Promoter endeavours to deliver the prizes within 28 days of winner confirmation. The winners must be UK residents and may be required to confirm proof of age and eligibility. The winners may be required to participate in publicity for the Promoter and/or prize provider.

We will not send email communications to children which contains content that is not suitable for minors.
