Oliver Leek was James Lester's former right-hand-man. Bio

Much of Leek's early life is unknown, except that he was always left out as a child. As a result of this, he had a very shy personality. At an unknown age, Leek joined the Home Office and worked as Sir James Lester's assistant.

When the Anomaly phenomenon was discovered, Leek and Lester met Nick Cutter, Stephen Hart, Connor Temple and Abby Maitland. They joined forces to prevent and contain the Forest of Dean Anomaly. Leek made a deal with Helen Cutter at an unknown point, likely before the ARC was founded.

After a few months, the Minister gave the team their own headquarters, the ARC. Leek most likely took Claudia Brown's place in the original timeline helping to contain the Anomalies.

Episode 2.1

When Cutter meets Leek at the ARC after the Future Predator incursion is dealt with, Leek is confused when Cutter doesn't recognise him. Cutter then pretends to know him, making Leek think that it was just a small case of memory loss.

When the rest of the ARC team went to the Castle Cross Shopping Mall to investigate an Anomaly, Leek told Lester of the Minister's requests that the ARC hire a PR guru to cover up the Anomaly incursions. Lester didn't agree at first, but settled to hire one after struggling to figure out how to cover up the shopping mall Anomaly incursion. Leek was later present when Jenny Lewis, the ARC's new PR guru, arrived.

Episode 2.2

Leek secretly hired Caroline Steel to spy on Connor and Abby for information. When Cutter and Connor proposed the idea of making an Anomaly Detection Device to detect Anomalies almost as soon as they opened, Leek was enthusiastic about the idea. Lester on the other hand was quite skeptical of the plan, but he gave them the budget anyway on the condition that Connor reported to Leek.

Episode 2.3

Leek was present when Connor unveiled the completed Anomaly Detection Device to the team. Leek first congratulated him and joked on the device's resemblance to a giant SatNav. When he then received a message that a paintballer had been mauled to death, he began to doubt the ADD's reliability.

After the Smilodon was caught and was being brought back to the ARC, Leek apparently had it secretly smuggled to his creature prison. He covered the creature's disappearance up by telling Cutter that it died while being transported. When Cutter didn't believe Leek and asked to do a post-mortem on the Smilodon's body, Leek lied that the body was destroyed as a health and safety protocol.

Leek later met Caroline at a secluded car park for more information on Connor and Abby, and paid her for her work.

Episode 2.4

After the Mer Creature incursion was dealt with, Lester had Leek speak to the contractors so as to seal the Anomaly site with concrete. The following night, Leek went to a secluded car park and talked with the Cleaner over communications. He warned the Cleaner against being seen by Cutter again, fearing that it could jeopardise the operation.

After the Cleaner cut the communication, Helen warned Leek that she wouldn't tolerate any mistakes, and threatened him by wondering if she'd chosen the wrong man. Leek apologised and Helen then left, leaving Leek shaken.

Episode 2.5

When the Anomaly Detector detected an Anomaly in Hackney, Leek hacked into the Detector from his car and stole the Anomaly's location. Leek then travelled to the Anomaly site with three mercenaries led by the Cleaner to obtain creatures via the Anomaly for his creature army. Leek reminded the Cleaner of his previous mistake of letting Cutter see him, and the mercenaries then went through the Anomaly while Leek waited in the present for them to return.

When Cutter and Jenny arrived, Leek contacted Helen about the three mercenaries' disappearances, then fled the Anomaly site before the ARC team could notice him. After Cutter and Stephen were marooned in the Silurian and returned to the present via another Anomaly with the nightscope of one of the mercenaries, Leek stole it from Cutter's office (while Cutter was getting a coffee) before Cutter had the chance to analyse it.

Episode 2.6

Leek went on alert with the rest of the ARC when a Columbian Mammoth rampaged on the M25. When Lester made a remark about the Woolly Mammoth's hair, Leek explained that the Columbian Mammoth was actually a hairless species, annoying Lester even more. Leek later overheard the argument between Cutter and Stephen after the incursion was dealt with.

After the Mammoth was captured and brought back to the ARC, Leek watched Cutter and Connor secretly plant a virus into the ADD as part of a plan to find the traitor in the ARC. Leek also had his men bring a Neural Clamped Future Predator to the ARC hidden in the back of a white van, and booby-trapped his file so that a bomb on the bottom of the van would activate if the file was accessed.

When the trap set by Cutter to catch the traitor went off, Leek quickly left the ARC to meet with Caroline so as to pay her and pick up a captured Rex. He also offered a curious Caroline to see his Creature Prison when she asked about Leek's interest in the creatures. Leek later sent Jenny with as many soldiers as she could to a church to contain a high priority Anomaly (which, known to Leek, was a trap by Cutter, Connor and Abby for the traitor). After Jenny and the soldiers left, Leek released the Neural Clamped Future Predator into the ARC and had it kill all the remaining staff but Lester.

When Lester investigated where all the ARC staff had gone, Leek communicated with him over the Anomaly Detector and set the Future Predator on Lester. However, Lester survived the Predator's attacks and managed to return to the operations room to tell Leek that he would never beg for his life, and to finish it quickly. Leek then happily agreed. Lester tauntd Leek, calling him a "tiresome little man". Enraged, Leek commanded the Future Predator to kill Lester. However, the Columbian Mammoth killed the Predator before it could kill Lester.

Afterwards, Leek brought Caroline, who wanted to see what he was really up to, to his Creature Prison. Lester tried to follow the signal transmitted to the Future Predator's Neural Clamp, but Leek had anticipated this, and the source of the signal was a diversion. When Cutter and his team traced Caroline's mobile phone using the Detector, they arrived at Leek's Creature Prison. Leek then captured them and he and Helen showed Leek's creature army to the captive team.

Episode 2.7

Leek had a Silurian Scorpion transported in a truck to a beach to wreak havoc, and threatened to Lester over communications to release another twelve creatures in other locations. Leek also had the ARC team locked in separate cells in the Creature Prison bunker, and was angered when he heard Cutter belittle him over the cell camera. When Caroline wanted to leave, Leek also had her locked up with Connor, Jenny and Abby, and later showed the four his captive creatures being fed.

When Helen had Cutter brought to the bunker's operations room, Leek had Connor, Abby, Caroline and Jenny locked in a room with the Smilodon and made Cutter watch. Helen ordered Leek to end it at Cutter's demand, but Leek disobeyed her, claiming that no-one ordered her. Cutter subsequently short-circuited the operationns room's computers, causing Leek to link his laptop to the mainframe to retake control. However, the virus from the Anomaly Detector, which Leek had unknowingly downloaded into his laptop when he hacked the ADD, subsequently took down the mainframe and freed the captive creatures. Leek then slipped away while Cutter was distracted.

Leek sent one of his Neural Clamped Future Predators to stalk Cutter through the bunker, but the Predator was eventually killed in a room when Cutter tore the Neural Clamp from the Predator's skull. Leek then arrived and showed Cutter his army of other Neural Clamped Future Predators, and took Cutter hostage. Lester subsequently contacted Leek to inform him that the ARC's men are coming for him, having found his location after the virus sent the contents of Leek's computer to the Anomaly Detector. In a last bid, Leek threatened to set his Future Predators on Cutter if Lester didn't call his men off within the next thirty seconds.

While Leek was distracted, Cutter short-circuited the Neural Clamp he tore from the first Predator, disabling all the other Future Predators' Clamps. A shocked and frightened Leek then shouted at Cutter that he had doomed them all. The Predators, freed from Leek's control, then surrounded him and brutally ripped him apart.
