An anomaly leading to the Cretaceous opened at the Lambeth Baths swimming pool.

A Mosasaur swam through the anomaly from the Cretaceous, and ate a lifeguard, Anthony Barton, and cracked the glass of a window looking into pool before returning through the anomaly, which closed shortly afterwards.

The police investigated the lifeguard's death and accused an innocent woman, but Nick Cutter and his team, when investigating, believed that it had been a creature attack.
