Jeff was a golfer and friends with Andy, who played golf at the Forest Heights Country Club. When Jeff and Andy were playing at the golf course, Jeff got stuck in a sand bunker, and asked for Andy to give him a lift to the next part of the course, which Andy refused.
Later, when Jeff heard Andy screaming, he went to investigate and found Andy's corpse, stripped and devoured. A traumatised Jeff was afterwards questioned by Nick Cutter and Stephen Hart about what he saw once the Home Office and Special Forces arrived to investigate. (Episode 1.5)
