Hypermarket was an under construction shopping centre located in London. Supply crates and pallets were stored inside ready for opening.
History
At some point pre-2011, a colony of approximately fifty Future Giant Burrowing Insects came through an Anomaly into the present day London, entered the centre via a burrow in the basement and set up a hibernation nest on the ground floor.
In 2011, some roadworks were set up on the road nearby, the vibrations woke one of the insects so it ventured out from the centre to find food, it later returned with a worker and Connor Temple but died of it's injuries. Connor discovered the nest and with help from the rest of the Anomaly Research Centre team set off a gas explosion inside killing all the insects and destroying the supplies. James Lester later talked with the relevant authorities to justify the ARC's actions. (Episode 5.1)
