A harpoon gun is a gun capable of firing harpoons. Nick Cutter took one with him when going through an anomaly into the Cretaceous. He used it to shoot an adult Mosasaur in the head, but its skin was too thick for the harpoon to penetrate. (Episode 1.3) When Abby is taken by a Mer and drags her into the canal,so Connor grabs a harpoon gun,but Cutter orders him not to shoot in case he kills her accidentely (Episode 2.4) Stephen Hart used a harpoon gun on a beach to deal with a Silurian Scorpion released by Oliver Leek. He shot it and it was left trapped until Special Forces from the ARC came to pick it up. (Episode 2.7)
