A large colony of Carboniferous Arachnids came through an anomaly into the present day and nested in an abandoned shelter in the London Underground.
One arachnid attacks a stopped train and tries to bite a passenger through an open window, but the lady sees the creature and shuts the window on it, severing one of its legs. Later, a pest controller is stalked and eventually attacked by a giant spider, which viciously bites at his neck.
A squad of soldiers lead by Captain Ryan is sent into the spider nest in an abandoned underground shelter. The spiders descend from above, biting one soldier on the neck and almost overwhelm the team until bright light from a gunshot makes the spiders return into hiding. Using the spiders' aversion to light, the team use torches to force the colony back through the anomaly.
