George was a teacher at McKinnon School who was supervising three teenagers serving Saturday detention. However, earlier that day an Anomaly had opened inside the school's cafeteria, and George became caught up in a Therocephalian infestation when the creatures entered the school through the time portal.
George was killed when a lone Therocephalian ambushed him when he left the class briefly to retrieve a snack from a vending machine.
Supervising detention[]
One Saturday, students Steve, Darren and Beth were serving detention. George eventually walked into the classroom, sarcastically noting that he "loves the smell of wasted potential in the morning." After taking Beth's portable MP3 player to avoid disruption (much to her chagrin), he asked the students if they felt their actions were really worth the consequence, receiving a mocking response from Steve and Darren. Irritated by the students' lack of respect, he subsequently informed them he would be back shortly, and firmly instructed them not to move or talk while he was away.
Vending machine ambush[]
George then headed to the vending machines at the school's atrium. He tried to receive a snack from the machine, but at that moment its power went off. George investigated the cause of the electrical failure and found the culrpit — a loose cable behind the machine. As soon as he fixed the problem, he inserted a coin into the slot and received a snack from the machine. However, the product became stuck within the machine. Irritated, George put his hand into the machine's dispenser slot to retrieve the product.
The attack[]
As he moved his hand through the machine to dislodge the snack, his arm was suddenly and forcefully pulled into the machine. Terrified, he managed to pull his hand out and fell backwards to the floor as the machine began violently shaking. He examined his bitten hand, which had a large infected wound on it. Panicking, he began to flee.
His attacker soon broke out of the machine, revealed to be a Therocephalian. Weakened by the paralyzing effects of the creature's bite, George was unable to escape the animal as it closed in. The Therocephalian then leaped on George from behind and tackled him to the floor.
As George screamed in terror, the Therocephalian proceeded to tear apart the helpless teacher with its jaws, eventually killing him.
Post-mortem[]
The creature later dragged George's mutilated corpse elsewhere in the school, leaving behind several blood trails in the process. His discolored severed arm was later found by ARC agents Matt Anderson and Hilary Becker when they infiltrated the school in search of the Anomaly, giving them their first indication of the venomous properties of the Therocephalian's bite. However, the rest of his body remained undiscovered by the team.
