Duncan is one of Connor Temple's friends and is determined to find out about Connor's secret life. He has a wild imagination, and is obsessed with conspiracy theories. Since the death of his friend Tom, he's been going down a hard road and become determined to find proof for himself if no one else.

Episode 1.2Edit

Connor attempts to tell him and Tom about the anomalies and seeing a Gorgonopsid, but they don't believe him; Connor said they'd be gutted some day about not believing. Duncan thought he'd lost it, but Tom saw that he actually believed it and the pair came up with a plan. Setting up the false sighting of a creature on a strange sightings forum, they made a fake dinosaur and scared Connor and Abby Maitland when they went to invesigate during the night in New Forest. After humiliating their friend, Duncan and Tom fled as the police were coming.

Episode 1.3Edit

They ran into Connor sometime later while he was researching Mosasaurs, and reminded him it was time for their Thursday-night hangout. Connor turned down the offer and left, Duncan thinking that he was still angry over their prank. Tom and Duncan begin to contemplate what Connor is really doing, wondering why he suddenly has an interest in dinosaurs. Duncan theorises he's probably found an unknown fossil, but Tom decides they need to keep a closer eye on him.

Episode 1.4Edit

When Connor went to stay at Abby's place, the duo give him a lift and an innocent-looking "Roswell" key chain, that actually contained a tracking device. They watched as Abby kissed Connor on the cheek, unaware he had blackmailed her for their benefit. They waited outside the flat and spotted someone else going in, Duncan suspecting he was the real boyfriend. Soon after the trio left, Tom and Duncan followed them via the tracking device to the Matchroom Stadium. The tracking device was then swallowed by a dodo which they successfully caught, leading themselves to the conclusion that the creatures were being cloned. However, while keeping it at their flat and trying to decide how to expose the conspiracy, it bit Tom. Duncan locked the enraged bird in a room. Tom meanwhile became infected with the parasite and attempted to bite Duncan, who ran away. Duncan confronted Connor and explained what happened to Tom and the dodo. Connor called the Home Office and Claudia, who accused him of stealing the dodo, and despite his protest of it not being illegal to catch extinct animals she claimed he stole government property - treason. He was taken into custody and then assisted the team in finding Tom by letting them know about the tracking device in the dodo, now dead, which Tom had stolen along with Abby.

Episode 4.2Edit

Five years later, Connor was fired from the ARC due to new reforms made when he and Abby spent a year trapped in the Cretaceous. He soon finds that Duncan is running a website about sightings of creatures such as the Gorgonopsid and the Future Predator. Connor phones Duncan's mother to find out were he's living, and goes there. It is a seemingly delapadated appartment with the door to the building covered in coragated iron. When Conner knocks on the door Duncan is very suspicous of him, asking him for ID even though he knows Connor's face. He eventualy lets Connor in and tells him he remembers what Connor said to Tom just before he died, about a conspiracy about mind control which is what he thinks the creatures are about. Conner convinces him there is no conspiracy and Duncan shows him all the proof he has of the creatures. He then takes Connor to a construction site where homeless people, and for a while himself, lived, because there have been many bodies turning up and no one's doing anything about it because they're only homeless. While there, Connor finds a dead body and Duncan starts to get scared. Connor calls Abby to come and see the body to tell him whether it's a creature kill. However, when she gets there the builders start to turn up and Connor tries and fails to convince them to leave, when they torch one of the homeless shelters, it turns out the creature, a Kaprosuchus, is living there, which then runs amok. It chases Duncan, Connor and Abby but then Matt Anderson pulls up and gets everyone into the car. After the chase the Kaprosuchus ends up on a cargo ship. Duncan waits outside the boat, but when Becker stuns the Kaprosuchus and puts it in a shipping container it wakes up. While the container is in mid-air hanging from a crane, the beast jumps out. This scares Duncan and he runs onto the boat and into the maze of containers, the creature following. Connor chases after him, desperate to save his friend. Successfully hiding, they both survive, and Connor tells Duncan to inform him of any other creatures he hears about.
