Douglas James Henshall (born 19 November 1965) is a Scottish actor. He portrayed Professor Nick Cutter in Series 1, Series 2 and part of Series 3 of Primeval. He left the show after Episode 3.3, and has confirmed he will not return for any future series.
His first acting role in TV or film was in Taggart which also featured Andrew-Lee Potts in a 2006 episode. He's appeared in other things since 1987, and most recently has appeared as D.I John Tolin in ITV drama Collision.
