« "Everything that I have done since the day you disappeared has been about getting you back. The police force, joining the ARC, everything!" »
— Danny Quinn to his brother Patrick Quinn[src]

Detective Constable Danny Quinn was a former police detective constable and, for a short time, the second team leader of the Anomaly Research Centre; following Nick Cutter's untimely death. He was classified as MIA after he was marooned in the Pliocene while trying to stop Helen Cutter.

Biography

Background

Danny was born c.1969, and grew up in a middle-class neighbourhood with his parents and his younger brother; Patrick. Around 1995 Patrick went missing while hanging out with his two friends Matt and Ryan Mason in the secluded Brooks house, Danny became determined to find out what had happened to him. Like the majority of the community, Danny became convinced that Ryan, the only one of the trio who did not disappear, was responsible for Patrick's disappearance.

Patrick and Danny as boys. (Episode 4.6)

Danny went on to become a Police Detective Constable in order to access more information on his brother's case, which appeared to be his primary motivation for joining the police, and he followed any lead with almost obsessive single-mindedness. He didn't find his job in the police particularly satisfying, as he once stated that kicking down doors to gain entry was the only part of the job that he liked. (Episode 3.2, 3.6, 4.7)

Episode 3.2

3x2dannyInterrogatesConnor

Danny demands Connor tell him about the ARC's interest in the abandoned house.

Chief: "Forget it, Danny. It's over."
Danny: "Not for me."
―Danny refuses to let go of his brother's disappearance.

Fourteen years after Patrick's disappearance, Danny spied Jenny Lewis, Connor Temple and Abby Maitland investigating the now-abandoned house where Patrick disappeared. Suspicious of the team and their intentions, Danny forced them to leave immediately, angrily and disgustedly accusing them of being murder tourists. Later, Danny learned that Jenny, Connor and Abby were government from their license plates, and so asked his Chief during target practice if the case on Patrick Quinn's disappearance had been reopened. The chief explained otherwise and told Danny to let Patrick's disappearance go, but Danny refused.

Danny later returned to the house, and found Connor alone there. He arrested Connor for trespassing, and locked him in a cell back at the police station. There, Danny was unimpressed by Connor's refusal to talk, and demanded to know why the government were interested in the house. After Danny reluctantly allowed Connor to make a phone call and Jenny came to bail Connor out, Jenny told Danny that she had had his superiors designate the team's presence at the house government business, and so warned him to stay away from the house.

3x2dannyThreatensRyan

Danny threatens Ryan over his brother's disappearance.

The next day, Danny ignored Jenny's warning and returned to the house to find the team, Ryan Mason, and Jimmy Keel dead there. Danny demanded to know what Ryan had done with Patrick, and threatened to shoot him, but managed to calm down and lower his gun. A Camouflage Beast then attacked Danny and knocked him out, but Danny was protected from the creature's claws by an anti-stab vest. After Danny recovered, when the Camo Beast came back to the house through an Anomaly and attacked the team, Danny shot it repeatedly until in fell back through the Anomaly.

Afterwards, Danny, having worked out from the Camouflage Beast incursion that Ryan was innocent, apologised to him and was hopeful that Patrick hadn't actually been killed by the Camo Beast, but had escaped through the Anomaly. Jenny recommended that Danny move on from Patrick's disappearance, and shortly afterwards Danny quit the police force.

Episode 3.4

Jenny: "What's the plan?"
Danny: "Well, to be honest, I'm making it up as I go along."
―Danny when distracting the Giganotosaurus with a helicopter.
3x4dannyFreesConnor+Jenny

Danny frees and greets Connor and Jenny.

Danny covertly followed the ARC team on his motorcycle, and later Mick Harper when the latter stole Jenny's handheld Anomaly Detection Device. Danny followed Mick and his camera team to an airport, where he broke Connor and Jenny out of a warehouse. Ignoring Jenny's demands for him to leave, Danny instead followed them to the Anomaly in a hangar. Jenny threatened to have him arrested, but Danny refused, and helped Mick and Katherine Kavanagh out of their overturned car. When Connor's new Anomaly Locking Mechanism failed, Danny suggested that they close the hanger door, prompting a frustrated Jenny to order Becker to arrest him. However, before Becker could take Danny away, a Giganotosaurus came through the Anomaly, distracting the team long enough for Danny to escape.

3x4dannyPilotsHelicopter

Danny commandeers a helicopter to distract the G. Rex.

Danny found and commandeered a helicopter in the airport, and used it to fly by the Giganotosaurus and distract it from eating Connor. Jenny contacted Danny and was unhappy, but Danny convinced her to let him draw the G. Rex back to the Anomaly. Danny then flew in the helicopter into the hangar and through the Anomaly, followed by the G. Rex. In the Cretaceous on the other side of the Anomaly, Danny saw an entire herd of more Giganotosaurus heading towards the Anomaly, and escaped back through to the Present to warn the team. Connor then successfully locked the Anomaly with the Locking Mechanism. Afterwards, Jenny thanked Danny and explained she would have to arrest him for his interference, but Danny slipped away and fled on his motorcycle.

Episode 3.5

Danny later broke into the Anomaly Research Centre, and was captured by an annoyed and unimpressed Becker and Jenny. He was brought to James Lester, and demanded that Lester let him join the team; believing that he could be useful, and that he had a right due to Patrick's disappearance. While talking with Connor, Danny noticed from a jumping screen that the ARC's main ADD was offline.

3x5dannyCapturedByARC

Danny wants to join the ARC team.

Danny later helped Sarah Page with her equipment, until he noticed Mark Baker suspiciously skulking around the ARC. Danny convinced Sarah to let him go after Baker, and he followed Baker into the ARC's lab. There, Danny found Baker infected by Future Fungus, and activated the alarm and fled the lab. Danny and Connor then donned bio-hazard suits and went back into the lab to save Baker, but found he had already perished from the Fungus. While Connor and Danny were discussing the Future Fungus, Baker's infected body attacked the two, but they were able to escape the lab and locked the Baker Creature inside.

Danny subsequently watched as the Baker Creature was seemingly destroyed by heat when Sarah raised the lab's temperature, and a reluctant Lester then allowed Danny to wield flamethrowers against the Future Fungus. Danny then went with Jenny, Becker and Abby to kill the remaining Fungus Creature with the flamethrowers in the underground tunnels. He and the team cornered the Creature, and were about to incinerate it when Sarah called them and warned that heat did not actually work on the Fungus. Danny then had the team chase the Fungus Creature up to the surface and into the back of a van. Danny and Jenny then drove the Fungus Creature back to the ARC in the van, where the Creature escaped into the building.

3x5dannyFightsFungusCreature

Danny distracts the Fungus Creature.

When Jenny was trapped in the ARC's main room with the Fungus Creature and began to freeze to death, Danny went into the room to save her, and distracted and fought the Creature off with a fire extinguisher until it died from the cold. Danny then helped the team revive Jenny. Afterwards, Lester appointed Danny the team's new leader, and Danny accepted to Christine Johnson's spite. When Danny learned that Jenny was quitting, he tried to convince her to stay, but her near-death experience and the revelation of her former life as Claudia Brown in the original timeline had set her mind, and she wished Danny luck as the new team leader and then left.

Episode 3.6

Danny and Becker tested the ARC's security by having Danny break in via the ventilation shafts before Becker caught him. When reporting to Lester, Danny realised that a camera he had seen in the shaft was not part of the ARC's camera system, and he then found another camera in Lester's office and realised that Christine Johnson was spying on them. Danny and the team then prepared to escape with the Artifact, and they managed to escape the ARC with the Artifact via the ventilation shaft while Johnson's men arrived and took over the building.

Following Lester's directions, Danny and the team took shelter at an abandoned rural military installation, and Danny and Abby set up warning traps throughout the woods for if and when Johnson's men arrived and found them.

3x6dannyFendsOffTerrorBird

Danny fending off a Terror Bird with a pipe.

While the team were having a 1930s-like dance at the local cabin, Sarah read in a journal found on a human skeleton that something had wiped the science team out in 1938, and the team then heard a Terror Bird distress call on the music record. The warning traps then went off, and when Danny went out to investigate, he was attacked by a Terror Bird which Connor fought off with vintage champagne bottles (to Danny's chagrin due to the bottles' great value).

The team then tried to flee in their car, but were chased by the Terror Bird, which Danny tried to fight off from on the back of the car with a pipe, and at one point nearly fell out. When the car crashed, Danny ordered Sarah and Abby to flee, while he stayed with an unconscious Connor. When Connor awoke, Danny used him as bait to lure the Terror Bird into a snare trap, while Danny waited for the Bird from up in a tree. Once the Terror Bird came, Danny was able to trap it in the snare trap, and he and Connor then fled to a minefield, where they met up with Sarah and Abby. A flock of the other Terror Birds launched an attack, and Danny managed to trick one into setting off a landmine and blowing itself up. The team were then captured by Ross and another one of Johnson's men, until a Terror Bird attacked and killed them, and was itself decapitated when Ross' car was blown up.

The team subsequently returned to the cabin and tried to barricade themselves inside from the Terror Birds. However, when the Birds began to break in, Danny came up with an idea to use the Birds' distress call on the music record to draw them back to the Anomaly. He then tried to escape along a power line from the cabin to the Anomaly. Several Terror Birds came close to dragging Danny down and killing him, before Connor distracted them long enough for Danny to escape to the Anomaly. Danny then used the strap from his trousers to restart the generator, and played the Terror Bird distress call across the military installation's speakers. Danny hid from the Birds in a viewing room as they returned through the Anomaly, which then closed.

3x7dannyTriesToReasonWithSirWilliam

Danny tries to reason with Sir William.

Danny and the team were then found and captured by Becker under Johnson's orders, and taken back to the ARC. There, Danny watched with satisfaction as Johnson was relieved of her command over the ARC and escorted out.

Episode 3.7

William: "You are an infernal imp sent to torment my soul."
Danny: "You sound just like my mother."
―Danny annoys Sir William.

When an Anomaly opened at a junkyard, Danny and the team travelled to there to find an injured Dracorex at the junkyard. Danny had the team use loud noises to try and scare the Dracorex back through the Anomaly, but before the creature could go back through, Sir William de Mornay came through and he and the Dracorex then left the junkyard. Realising that the Anomaly actually led to the Medieval ages and not the Cretaceous, Danny and Connor followed Sir William through London to try and convince him to return through the Anomaly. The two eventually found Sir William in an alley, and tried to explain to him that he wasn't in Hell and that killing the Dracorex would make no difference. However, Sir William knocked both Danny and Connor out and left.

Connor and Danny later found Sir William again in The Green Man pub, and Danny fought him but once again lost. Sarah called to tell Danny who Sir William was, and that he would probably go to a ruined church. Danny ordered Sarah to stay away, and then went to the church ruins to find Sir William there. He tried to offer to help Sir William get back home, but Sir William believed him to be a tormenting demon and attacked him. Danny and Sir William fought, and the latter almost killed Danny until Sarah intervened and calmed Sir William down. When Sir William kidnapped Sarah and forced her to take him to the Dracorex, Danny followed them and convinced Sir William to stand down. When Sir William asked the team about the 21st Century before returning through the Anomaly, Danny admitted that it was a filthy and awful place, but it was home.

Episode3

Danny covered in Megopteran goo. (Episode 3.8)

Episode 3.8

« "Nice..." »
— Quinn after being splattered by the Megopteran.[src]

Danny and the team travelled to a Race Circuit in search of an Anomaly. They found the Anomaly on a hangar, and Danny was then attacked by a Megopteran and retreated out onto the race track. The Megopteran followed Danny, but was run over by a car on the track, covering Danny in Megopteran goo in the process. Afterwards, Danny asked Connor about whether or not the creature was from the Past, and then had the Anomaly locked.

Later, back at the ARC, Danny watched as Connor and Sarah experimented on the Artifact to try and activate it, but he got bored and went to see the results of Abby's post-mortem on the Megopteran. Danny was repulsed when she revealed that the creature used its ovipositor to lay eggs inside a host, and then discovered from the fact that both the Artifact and the Megopteran's body were covered in selenium that they were from the same place. Danny was thrilled at the realisation that this meant that the team could see the Future via the Race Circuit Anomaly, and they then went to there to find the Anomaly unlocked.

When the team realised that Abby's brother Jack had gone through the Anomaly, they reluctantly went through into the Future to rescue Jack, and found themselves in a desolate, ruined city. The rest of the team were horrified at their apocalyptic future, while Danny tried to get them to focus on finding Jack. Danny initially decided that they would stay by themselves to continue searching for Jack, but when the team were continuously attacked by Future Predators (one of which slashed Danny's neck), Danny decided that they needed to go back through the Anomaly for backup. When Abby went off on her own, Danny followed her and convinced her that he would not give up on Jack.

3x8dannyYouThinkShesGotAccessToAnAnomaly

Danny and Lester wonder what Johnson is up to.

Danny and Abby then went to the sportscar which Jack had driven through the Anomaly, and found Jack trapped in a nearby underground bunker. Danny went down into the bunker and helped the team lift Jack up and out through a shaft. When a Megopteran attacked, Danny fled back out of the bunker and to the surface, and blew it up with a flare to kill the Megopteran. Danny and the team then took shelter from the Future Predators in an old bus, and when the Predators and Megopterans started fighting, Danny and the team made a run for the Anomaly. On the way, Danny saw Captain Joseph Wilder with a captured Eve. Danny and the team then reached the Anomaly only to find it locked, but they were able to escape back through when it was unlocked, and Danny then had Connor lock it again.

Afterwards, back at the ARC, Danny told Lester about seeing Wilder in the Future, and the two speculated that Johnson had access to a cloaked Anomaly, and that they had to find out what she was up to.

Episode 3.9

Eve: "Are you insane?"
Danny: "It depends who you ask."
―Danny's sanity is questioned by Eve
3x9dannyRescuesEve

Danny rescuing Eve from Johnson's HQ.

Danny disobeyed Lester's orders to "freelance" in their attempts to stop Johnson, and broke into Johnson's HQ to rescue Eve, lying to Lester over the phone. After listening to Johnson's interrogation of Eve, Danny was found by Wilder and taken into Eve's cell. He then knocked the guard in there out and offered to take her to the ARC. Danny and Eve then drove to an Anomaly site to save a campsite from a herd of Embolotherium, and Danny witnessed Eve use an Anomaly Opening Device to send the creatures through an Anomaly.

Danny and the team then took Eve back to the ARC, where Danny was ordered to see Lester and found that Johnson had obtained a warrant for his arrest. Danny tried to hide Eve's presence in the ARC from Johnson, but the latter still found her anyway, and was then taken hostage by Eve. To Danny's surprise, Eve revealed herself to be Helen Cutter, and fled the ARC with the Artifact and a hostage Johnson.

3

Danny with Eve at the campsite.

Danny and the team chased Helen to Johnson's HQ, but were too late to stop Helen escaping with Johnson into the Future through the latter's Anomaly and then closing the Anomaly behind her. Knowing that Helen's insane attempts to save the Future would only result in more innocent people getting hurt, Danny decided that the team would use the Race Circuit Anomaly to go into the Future after Helen, and would follow her through the Anomalies wherever she went.

Episode 3.10

Danny and the team travelled to the Race Circuit, and Danny had Sarah lock the Anomaly for two hours once the team went through; promising Sarah that they would be back. Danny, Connor and Abby then went back into the desolate city in the Future through the Anomaly, and searched for Helen. After locking themselves in a future version of the ARC to escape a Future Predator, the team found Helen there. Danny held her at gunpoint, until she shocked him with a taser. Helen then used her Anomaly Opening Device to escape through an Anomaly into the Cretaceous, leaving Danny, Connor and Abby in the Future to die.

3x10dannySearchesTheFutureForHelen

Danny and the team searching for Helen in the Future.

Danny and Connor quickly realised that Helen was planning to kill the first Australopithecus to stop Humanity's evolution, and so Connor successfully reopened the Cretaceous Anomaly with another Opening Device, and the team escaped through from a pack of Future Predators and set about finding and stopping Helen. In the Cretaceous, Danny, Connor and Abby were chased up a tree by a pack of juvenile Raptors, and Connor's Anomaly Opening Device died. Danny used a stun grenade to knock the Raptors out, but Connor was also knocked out. Danny wanted to stay with Connor, but Abby forced him to go after Helen. Danny then followed Helen through another Anomaly into the Pliocene epoch.

In the Pliocene, Danny travelled through the Great Rift Valley looking for Helen, and found her and twelve dead Australopithecus that she had killed at Site 333. Danny confronted Helen and the two threw words at one another about their opposing views on Humanity. A Raptor then attacked Helen, killing her and itself, and Danny checked that they were both dead and they departed.

On the way back to the Anomaly, Danny found dozens of more Australopithecus alive, relieving him and ensuring that Humanity would evolve.

3x10dannyMaroonedInPliocene

Danny after being marooned in the Pliocene.

When Danny reached the Anomaly, he noticed it was closing and tried to escape back through to the Cretaceous. However, the Anomaly closed just before he could go through, leaving a distressed Danny marooned in the Pliocene.

Between Series 3 and Series 4

After he was marooned in the Pliocene, Danny spent six months fighting against Terror Birds there with a stick which he named Molly. He also found documents mentioning Philip Burton on Helen's body.

Episode 4.7

Danny came through an Anomaly to a prison in 2011, but just as he came through the Anomaly, new ARC team leader Matt Anderson mistook him for a creature and shot him unconscious with an EMD. When Danny awoke, he was happily reunited with Connor, Abby and Becker, and subsequently helped the team deal with a Terror Bird in the prison. Danny at one point used a stick called Molly to beat the Terror Bird through a satellite Anomaly. While the team were pursuing Ethan Dobrowski through the prison, when Ethan came across Danny and held him at gunpoint, Danny recognised Ethan as Patrick and vice versa, and the two brothers embraced.

0407DannyReunitesWithPatrick

Danny realises that Ethan is actually his brother, Patrick.

Patrick was subsequently taken into custody back at the new ARC by Becker. Danny asked to speak with Patrick, but Matt wanted to first. Lester explained to a horrified Danny what Patrick had done while the latter was in the Present, and Danny was asked by Philip Burton about Helen; Danny was immediately suspicious of Philip due to Helen's notes on him. When Danny was allowed to speak with Patrick, he tried to reconcile with him, but to no avail as Patrick blamed Danny for failing to find him. Danny was horrified at what his brother had become, and tried to explain to Patrick how the latter's disappearance was the reason that Danny joined the police and the ARC in the first place. Danny also refused to help Patrick escape from the ARC through an Anomaly, and was knocked out by Patrick when the latter escaped.

Danny and the rest of the team followed Patrick back to the prison, but were too late to stop him from escaping through the Pliocene Anomaly. Danny decided to go back through after Patrick to stop him from travelling to another human time period and getting people hurt. Danny warned Matt and Emily Merchant of Helen's notes on Philip, and told them that Philip wasn't to be trusted. Danny then jokingly promised to one day get back at Matt for shooting him, and then returned with Molly through the Anomaly into the Pliocene after Patrick.

0407DannyReturnsToPliocene

Danny says goodbye to Matt and Emily before going after Patrick. (Episode 4.7)

Personality

Danny was an impulsive man of action, who would not stand idly by and would break rules without hesitation if he felt it necessary. He was not easily intimidated by either man or the various creatures he encountered, and could keep a level head in a crisis. Danny was highly resourceful and independent in the field against creatures with or without any proper weapons at his disposal, but in spite of that he worked well with others of the team. Though he was willing to put the team in the line of danger with him when he had to, he would always put their lives first.

In a way, even though Helen was the only one to ever mention it to him, Danny was a lot like Nick Cutter except for intelligence; both of them being reckless and stubborn. Danny, like Cutter, also seemingly took a liking to Jenny Lewis. Despite this, the both of them never met. Danny was sarcastic and laid-back, with his reckless ways clashing with the more law-abiding ARC members, and he was very open, blunt and uncooperative with people he didn't like and who caused him grief; but to those who earned his friendship and respect, Danny was a joking, supportive and responsible friend.

Relationships

Christine Johnson

Danny was very suspicious and distrustful of Johnson and about what she could be up to, and had no problem with breaking into her facility to rescue Eve and to find out what was going on. Danny apparently also had a level of disdain for Johnson's completely-bureaucratic and amoral ways, reacting with open repulsion when she praised Becker for retrieving the Artefact. Despite his disgust for her, Danny apparently still didn't hate Christine enough to let her die, as he tried (unsuccessfully) to save her from a Future Predator as she was dragged through her own Anomaly to her death.

Connor Temple

When Connor and Danny first met during the ARC's investigation into the Brooks house where Patrick had disappeared, Danny was disgusted, suspicious and aggressive towards Connor and the rest of the ARC team about what they wanted there, and he even arrested Connor when he caught the latter trespassing in the house a second time. While Connor was in Danny's custody, Danny easily tricked Connor into unwittingly expending his rights until Jenny got Connor out of jail. The second time the team met Danny, Connor was gobstruck by Danny's impulsive behaviour and easy lack of regard for Jenny's warnings, and Danny at one point felt Connor was being overly-radical about containing an Anomaly (in testing the Locking Mechanism prototype on it when they could have just sealed the entrance to the Anomaly site). After Danny became the new team leader, Danny was highly protective of Connor when he was in serious danger, although he wasn't above occasionally using Connor as creature-bait.

Hilary Becker

During Danny's second and third encounters with the ARC team, Becker had to detain or arrest Danny several times, but usually only managed to keep Danny detained briefly if that before he got away. After Danny became the field team's new leader, he and Becker developed a teasing but very close friendship. Danny enjoyed joking with and poking fun at Becker, at one point even calling him "a good little soldier-boy," often just after an Anomaly incursion had been dealt with and victory secured. Becker's life mattered to Danny very much, as when the team briefly thought Becker dead while they were on a rescue mission into the future, Danny was extremely spiteful and disgusted at Jack's lack of gratitude over Becker's sacrifice.

Jenny Lewis

When Danny and Jenny first met during the Brooks house case, there was a lot of friction between them as well as a legal fight over the ARC's involvement with the house, which Jenny won by declaring the house government property. Danny and Jenny's relationship immediately eased after Danny learned the truth abut the Anomalies and what was in the house, and during Danny's subsequent encounters with the ARC, Jenny was irritated and exasperated at Danny's impulsive and persistent behaviour, while also admiring his bravery and the good he did despite refusing to treat him any different than any other interfering civilian. When Jenny and Danny last met, as Jenny resigned from the ARC, she fully accepted Danny as the team's new leader after her resignation and Cutter's death. Jenny's life mattered very much to Danny, as he went up against a Fungus Creature in person to save her, and was even willing to risk her getting infected by the Fungus rather than stand by and watch her freeze to death.

Patrick Quinn

Danny was a very loving and responsible older brother to Patrick, as Patrick's disappearance haunted Danny for over fourteen years and molded him into the man he was as an adult. Danny never stopped trying to find out what had happened to his brother, and after he learned the truth about the Anomaly, he became hopeful that his brother could have gone through and could still be alive somewhere else in time. Patrick's disappearance was the reason Danny joined the police force, and later one of the main reasons he joined the ARC, and Danny was very single-minded and determined about anything involving his brother's disappearance. Patrick and Danny finally saw each-other again when Danny returned from the Pliocene. Danny was horrified at the insane murderer Patrick had become after eighteen years lost in time, but even when Patrick admitted that he'd come to want to kill Danny more than anyone else, Danny still loved Patrick as his little brother and felt a sense of duty to stay with and watch out for Patrick; going as far as to return to the Pliocene in search of Patrick and make sure he didn't reach another human time period to cause trouble.

Sarah Page

When Danny and Sarah first met during the Future Fungus incursion, Sarah was distrustful to let Danny go off on his own in the ARC, while Danny tried to convince her otherwise by pointing out his own good qualities. After Danny became team leader, Sarah reported to him, and Danny would often rely on her for help with research into Anomaly incursions which involved the humanian past or mythology.

Skills and abilities

A seasoned police officer and detective, Danny has a knack for coming up with quick on-the-spot decisions and plans which have saved the team from horrible fates on more than one occasion. He is also a competent marksman and it is implied in his first appearance that he is a champion level marksman and has won the regional police championship contest more than once. He is also the only one to actually land a hit on the Camouflage Beast (hitting it several times) and has some skill in hand to hand combat. He has been seen performing decent driving manoeuvre and can even fly a helicopter (albeit rather erratically, though this is understandable, seeing as he was being chased by a dinosaur). As seen in some episodes, Danny is left-hander.

Trivia

  • The character of Danny was created by Writer James Moran. He was originally going to be a single-episode policeman called "Emmet Quinn" (the surname came from Moran's friend), before the producers adapted him into the lead character, after Douglas Henshall (Nick Cutter) decided to depart. [1][2]
  • The real reason why Danny did not come back for Series 4/Series 5 was that Jason Flemyng was filming X-Men: First Class and was not able to return full time to play the team leader, thus he only appeared in Episode 4.7.
  • The three Anomaly Research Centre's team leaders all originated from three different countries of the British Isles; EnglandIreland and Scotland. Danny came from England.
  • Danny Quinn was one of the 5inch Primeval action figures planned to be made by Character Options but due to the closure of Woolworths his figure was never mass produced. His original maquette is owned by Tim Haines.
